S N Shrivastava retired as Commissioner of Police, Delhi in June, 2021 after an unprecedented challenging assignment at the top handling the Riots in North East Delhi, Covid pandemic, Farmers’ agitation and others. He has rich experience in Counter Terror Operations in Jammu & Kashmir, as Spl DG CRPF and Delhi, when he headed the CT unit in Delhi Police. He is a recipient of President Police medal for Meritorious and Distinguished Service, respectively. An alumnus of IIT , he also holds a law degree.
